A few of us are studying the bugs in Long Sault Creek upstream and downstream from the McKinnon Pit where Arnott Brothers Construction Limited is asking to expand their site and go below the water table. We are also studying the bugs on the other branch of this creek upstream and downstream from where Cavanagh is proposing a massive sand and gravel excavation. They also want to go below the water table.
Wanting to share the existing beauty of this pristine ecosystem, we have made a 2024 Long Sault Creek calendar.
When it comes back from the press in early January, it will be distributed free of charge at the McDonald's Corners Reuse Centre.
See you at the dump!
