Dr. Dennis Murray a Conservation Biologist from Trent University will give a talk about Blanding's Turtle: how it likes to travel, what kind of habitat it thrives in, and why development of any kind is so disruptive.

He will also talk about other species at Risk and how mitigation does not always work.

He will then share some of his experiences working with a citizen's g group in opposition to quarries north of Peterborough.
